Tobias Rowles has received critical recognition as an art and commercial photographer. Intent on capturing honest, authentic images his work focuses on portrait and lifestyle photography that celebrates the 'everyday', exploring the intimate relationships between people and the places they inhabit.
Tobias shoots for a range of advertising clients including Nike, Google, Sony, Subaru and NSW Government. He has been a finalist for numerous prestigious awards, including the National Photographic Portrait Prize, the Bowness Photography Prize, the Head On Portrait Prize and the Head On Landscape Prize. His work has been exhibited at numerous galleries around Australia, and his first solo exhibition received honorable mention at the International Photography Awards in the US.
Tobias holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours (Class 1) from the College of Fine Arts (UNSW) and is based in Sydney, Australia. He has recently published his first book BELIEVERS.
